As SALSA JEANS Chief Product Officer, I provided strategic leadership across Merchandising, Design, Sourcing, and Industry functions, facilitating impactful product innovations and successful launches that laid the groundwork for future business growth opportunities.

A comprehensive organizational restructuring, emphasizing capability enhancement and team empowerment, resulted in significant improvements in efficiency, collection content, and business performance. Sustainability initiatives, including an average of 65% reduction in water consumption for all Denim production, elimination of single-use plastic in the supply chain, and a 50% reduction in paper packaging, underscore a commitment to driving positive change and sustainability for the organization.

As C&A EUROPE Senior Vice President and Director of Brands for Womenswear, Apparel & Accessories, my role encompassed
strategic leadership in Merchandising & Financial Planning, as well as Product Design. Identifying and prioritizing strategic product categories was instrumental in achieving consecutive annual growth and market share leadership. A significant contribution was crafting a clear and distinctive Look & Feel for each the proprietary brand, directly contributing to top-line and bottom-line performance.

Additionally, pioneering sustainability initiatives, including launching Cradle to Cradle programs in Jersey and Denim, reinforced the company's environmental commitment. Strengthening team competencies through role definition and cross-functional collaboration was a key focus, along with leadership empowerment. Leading creative ideation, executing noteworthy public events, and delivering high-impact collaborations with the marketing team resulted in substantial equity gain.

C&A Europe

As Benetton Chief Merchandising Officer and Worldwide Creative Director, my role encompassed strategic and creative leadership, overseeing Merchandising, Design, Retail Marketing, and Store Design. During this period, the team's competencies were significantly strengthened through effective coaching and mentoring. A focus on operational efficiency led to the implementation of a rigorous go-to-market process, resulting in six product releases per season by leveraging European and Far-East product development platforms and successfully growing the international market beyond existing core markets. Innovation was a key driver across multiple product categories, and the successful launch of two new retail store formats enhanced the brand's presence and customer experience. Additionally, strategic events and activities were executed to boost overall Brand Equity, substantial contributions were made to award-winning Institutional and Product marketing campaigns, and an extensive embrace of digital platforms for communication and sales activities kept the brand at the forefront of marketing and retail trends.

As Levi’s® Global Senior Vice President of Merchandising & Design for Levi’s® Brand Women, my role served as a catalyst for multi years of consecutive growth. This growth was driven by relentless product innovation in core denim bottom categories and strategic product category extensions. Innovation was at the forefront, with the global launch of Levi’s® Curve ID, a groundbreaking innovation in the women's denim category. I also set the global Strategic and Creative direction of the Strategic Brand Plan.

As Levi’s® EMEA Senior Vice President of Product and Creative Director for Levi’s® Brand, my role was pivotal in driving top-line and bottom-line growth in the region. Performance was achieved through rigorous strategic merchandising and creative product initiatives impacting both retail and wholesale performances. Additionally, my focus on brand enhancement led to equity growth through premiumization efforts across product lines, trade marketing, and retail programs.

As Signature® America Vice President of Merchandising and Licensing, I played a key role in LS&Co's strategic expansion. We launched Signature® by Levi’s® Strauss with major value retailers like Wal-Mart, Target, and others, resulting in remarkable growth in just two years across all consumer segments. In addition to my role in the Americas, global brand integration was also part of my portfolio, preparing other regions for similar growth.
